Shave Oil Facts
Shave oil is an oil applied to the skin prior to shaving.
Its primary intended use is to replace tradional
foaming shave cream and shave gel. It is usually described as a pre-shaving application,
or pre-shave gel. Pre-shave lotions provide lubrication without clogging
electric razors. Shave oil softens the hair to be shaved. Only a
small application of shave oil is usually used. Water can be splashed over shave
oil to maintain hydration. Shave oil is usually made of ingredients your skin
needs.
